Ty Autry

Ty Autry is an Atlanta-based actor, writer, producer, and website designer with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. And no, that B.S. does not stand for bull shit, y’all.

Ty had the pleasure of starting his journey with Tier5 by reading the first-ever draft of The Christmas Carol: A Queer Fantasia, written by James Cougar Canfield, and proceeded to continue that honor by being the original Fred; Scrooges fabulous gay nephew and bridge to the queer world. He also had the privilege to be asked by James to choreograph and co-produce the play with music for its Off-Off-Broadway premiere at The Access Theater in December of 2019.

Before that point, Ty had started to explore his own writing through his first play and solo show A Southern Fairytale: the story of a gay Christian growing up in the Deep South. Performances were held at NYSummerfest, International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, Out Front Theatre Company, The Duplex, and FRIGID Festival. To this day, he still continues to refine the script and travel the world with this impactful show.

Beyond the writing, acting, and producing, Ty joined Tier5’s creative team recently by managing their website.
