Nicole Orabona

Associate Producer

Nicole Orabona (she/hers) has carved out a career that ascends both conventional and unconventional creative spaces. Her working life has seen her take on everything from leading roles in Shakespeare with Emit Theatre, to being a senior company member with the Drama Desk Nominated Live In Theater. Trained in a blend of modern and classical practices at Boise State University, she was an original devising member of the long-running Unmaking Toulouse Lautrec, has appeared in commercials for MasterCard and Conde Nast, and has worked on nearly two dozen interactive productions and prestige immersive events for clients that include Netflix and MGM.

With Tier5, Nicole first appeared as Jo March in the LA premiere of meg jo beth amy & louisa. She has also appeared as a presenter in Tier5 Sings! #BOOKed, Let's Misbehave, and Rhapsody in Magic.

Throughout the pandemic, Nicole has been one of many working to keep the indie arts scene alive online. Her micro-short, Washashores, created by CirqueSaw, the production company she runs with partner Nathan Leigh, has been accepted to 6 film festivals, including Manhattan Rep's STORIES Film Festival. With Exquisite Corpse, she originated the role of the Realtor in Leah Barker's A Real Estate Opportunity for Your Consideration, now published by Dramatist Play Services. Additionally, her work with Bramble Theatre Company's Ministry of Mundane Mysteries, Cirque du Nuit's THICKETT, and Live in Theatre has been experienced by audience members in over 100 U.S. cities and across 5 different continents.

Nicole and her partner Nathan split their time between a boat in Jersey City and a 100-year-old house in Western Mass with their perfect cat, Commodore Welcome.
