Michi Walker
Associate Producer
Michi Walker is an NYC-based actor, singer, and pianist. She has been involved with Tier5 as a performer and music director since 2018.
Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Michi could be found on the piano bench or behind the pages of a book. As she got older she began training her voice in and out of the vocal studio – she attributes most of her success to the Funny Girl Original Broadway Cast Recording. She starred in numerous productions while at home before graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Two weeks later she moved to NYC.
Michi joined the Tier5 family over two years ago when cast in the workshop production of meg jo beth amy & louisa. She has appeared as Beth March/Lizzie Alcott/Music Director in every production (NYC, LA, DC, Arizona). Other Tier5 credits include Fan/Belinda Cratchit/Music Director in The Christmas Carol: A Queer Fantasia and Jinjur/Kalidah/Winkie Guard in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Virtually, she has performed in every Tier5 Sings! concert and joined the production team after the first concert’s premiere. Michi will lend her voice as Friar John to Tier5’s upcoming animated film, Romeo & Juliet: The Tragic Tale of Two Animal Cross-ed Lovers.
Michi believes that shoes shouldn't be worn in the house and the blue cupcakes at Carrot Top are the best. She is a minimalist at heart. Her favorite flower is peony and she can be found most days surrounded by flowers on the Upper West Side. Michi loves long walks and Frisbee games with her dad, which are too few and far between.
