Diane Marie Goldsmith

Diane is a Denver-based educator, vocalist, and performer. She has resided in the Denver area since 2017 and began producing with Tier5 January 2021!

Prior to her Denver move, Diane was involved with the performing arts & educational travel program, Up with People (UWP)! With them she traveled as a participant for 6 months, a promotion representative for 1 year, vocal instructor for 4 years & show manager for 2 years from January 2012 through December 2016. Some highlights include performing for Pope Francis on the steps of the New St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City in 2013 and 2015, organizing a show for 6,000 people in Latin America’s biggest square - el Zocalo - in Mexico City, singing in the midst of rainstorms in Havana, Cuba and singing an Up with People original song, “Song of Peace” in Tiberias and Ramat-Gan, Israel.

Before her global experience Diane began singing at the age of 7 when her mom had her join the local choir & she hasn’t stopped since! After extensive experience in her younger years with the Houston Children’s Chorus, as well as many high school choirs & musicals, Diane formalized her studies at The University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelors in Music Education in Voice, December 2011.

Currently, Diane is in her third year of teaching Performing Arts at KIPP Denver Collegiate High School, a charter school within Denver Public Schools. She founded the Performing Arts department where they have presented 5 variety shows, and two full length productions, Almost, Maine and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She teaches a variety of introductory & advanced performing arts classes and is also certified though Little Kids Rock to teach modern band classes.

When she’s not teaching at school or privately, Diane can be found performing with a local tribute band called Stone Beat Invasion (check them out! www.stonebeatinvastion.com)! If she’s not teaching or performing she’s either enjoying the outdoors with her dog, Gracie, or going on a road trip.

She has performed in every one of our Tier5 Sings! concerts: #BOOKed, Summer Camp, Let’s Misbehave, Witch, Please!, Rhapsody in Magic, A Very Merry Tier5 Christmas, and Star Crossed Lovers.
